How a Foundry job runs

Five stages, end to end.

From the moment an RFQ hits your dashboard to the moment we pay you. Photos at three of the five stages keep customers off your inbox.

  1. 01

    Intake

    RFQ lands in your dashboard

Customer drops a part in the Foundry workbench — STEP, STL, or GLB plus process, material, tolerance. We package it and route to partners we think fit.

  2. 02

    Quote

You quote — or pass, no penalty

Open the RFQ, review files, read the customer's notes. Quote a single transparent figure including your margin, lead time, and any conditions. Decline if it isn't a fit.

  3. 03

    Acceptance

    Customer accepts and pays

Once accepted, the customer pays through Mekka. Funds are held in escrow and released to you on shipment confirmation.

  4. 04

    Production

You fab — and upload progress photos

At kickoff, mid-production, and packing, snap a quick photo from your phone or shop floor. The customer sees them on their order page; you stop fielding "where's my part?" emails.

  5. 05

    Ship

    Mark shipped, get paid

Add tracking, mark shipped. We pay out on shipment confirmation; the customer marks delivered when the part arrives.

How we work with our partners

Every Foundry job includes customer-visible progress photos. Partners upload at three stages — kickoff, mid-production, and packing. Customers see them on their order page; we use them as proof of work and to keep customers in the loop without you fielding status emails.
